Coin Direct: Zeta Successfully Assisted with the Licencing of a Crypto Exchange in the Isle of Man
During 2016, Zeta assisted with the incorporation of Coin Direct Limited, a company incorporated in the Isle of Man on the 11th of August 2016, pursuant to section 15 (1) of the Companies Acts 1931 to 2004. The company, which operates in crypto-currency services, went on to being successfully registered under the Designated Businesses (Registration and Oversight) Act 2015 (“the Act”) in February 2017. The Designated Businesses Act requires that those undertaking designated business are registered with the Authority.
Coin Direct Limited is listed under Safe Custody/Buy of the Designated Businesses official IOM Financial Services Register. As a designated business, its’ obligations are to comply with both the Act and Anti-Money Laundering and Countering the Financing of Terrorism Code 2015 and it is subject to ongoing monitoring by the Isle of Man Regulator.
